On May 24, 2019, the new BMW 7 Series officially launched in Chengdu as the flagship model in the executive sedan segment. Compared to the current model, the most notable highlight of the new car is the larger “double-kidney” grille and the all-new headlight design. A total of 12 variants are available, with prices ranging from 828,000 to 2,428,000 yuan.
The new model features a redesigned front grille and headlight assembly, with the iconic double-kidney grille now 40% larger than the previous generation. The M760Li variant bears a V12 badge on the C-pillar and features exclusive black trim along the outer edges of the side windows.
Interior highlights include a new 12.3-inch fully digital instrument cluster and the latest iDrive 7.0 multimedia system. Standard features include a 10.25-inch touchscreen, connected car technology, BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant, low-speed follow-me-home lighting, automatic reverse parking within a 50-meter range, four-zone climate control, Nappa leather upholstery, and a B&W audio system.
