Audi is a German luxury automobile brand whose logo features four interlocking rings. It is currently a subsidiary of Volkswagen AG, headquartered in Ingolstadt, Germany, with branches in many countries, including China.

On December 20, 2018, the 2018 World’s 500 Most Valuable Brands ranking was released, with Audi placing 51st. In October 2019, Audi ranked 42nd on Interbrand’s Top 100 Global Brands list.

Audi is a renowned automotive developer and manufacturer, with a logo featuring four interlocking rings. It is currently a subsidiary of Volkswagen AG, headquartered in Ingolstadt, Germany. Its main models include the A1, A3, A4, A5, A6, A7, A8, Q1, Q2, [4] Q3, Q5, Q7, Q8 [5-6], TT, R8, and the S and RS performance series.

The Audi Group comprises the parent company and its subsidiaries: Audi Hungary, quattro GmbH, Lamborghini S.p.A., Cosworth Technology, Audi Brazil, and Audi Senarita. Additionally, Audi operates production facilities in China, Malaysia, and South Africa.

Audi is one of Germany’s oldest automobile manufacturers. Since 1932, Audi has used the four-ring emblem, which symbolizes the Auto Union formed by the merger of Audi, DKW, Horch, and Wanderer.

In the 1930s, the Auto Union covered every segment of the passenger car market that the German automotive industry had to offer, ranging from motorcycles to luxury sedans.

In 2008, Audi was ranked seventh on the “Top Brands in China for Buyer Satisfaction” list compiled by the World Brand Value Lab.

The Audi logo features four interlocking rings, representing the four companies that merged to form the brand.

These companies were formerly manufacturers of bicycles, motorcycles, and light commercial vehicles. Since the company was formed by the merger of four firms, each ring symbolizes one of the original companies.
